The event that started it all for the Miller families, Fall Carlisle, is also the event that wraps up each season in Carlisle, PA. That trend continued for the 52nd time October 1-5, as this year’s offering, driven by Hemmings.com, welcomed guests from around the world, all seeking the thrill of the hunt and a diverse gallery of all things automotive in advance of winter project season.

Though gates opened Wednesday the 1st for the first time to officially start the show, business was happening by Monday as vendors set up and patronized each other. Within the automotive flea market and car corral, thousands of vendors moved great automotive-themed items. Pieces and parts deemed original, new old stock, aftermarket, and more were available, as were collectibles and memorabilia best suited for a garage, man cave, or shop. Classic cars were the rage too, with over 500 lacing the east end of the grounds between fence lines as part of the car corral.

Along with the car parts and collectibles, there was no shortage of amazing builds by way of shop art peppered around the grounds. Beyond that, the “car stuff” wasn’t all that was for sale, as there were non-automotive, or Anymotive, options too. This included bikes, motorcycles, boats, coolers on wheels, and more.  There was even an “Oasis” for even more practical items for around the home.

New this year, Fall Carlisle welcomed a vendor known as the Crazy Lamp Lady, a social media personality and Carlisle-area local. Her booth in Building T showcased a variety of antiques, collectibles, and other items that got the attention of those shopping the hall. In addition, another new feature was Carlisle Auctions’ 10 AM start time and its all-Import hour. The auction welcomed 400+ consignments spanning more than 110 years of production history and not only hosted the import hour but a variety of lots that sold to benefit great causes like local first responders via Fund the Firehouse and Harley’s Haven Dog Rescue.  At its conclusion, the auction saw more than $5.5 million in total sales, with a greater than 50% sell-through rate.

There were also some extra special happenings on Saturday of Fall Carlisle as vendors came together with Carlisle Events staff for the popular vendor dinner. This get-together of Carlisle die-hards helped wrap up the night with fellowship, camaraderie, comments from Bill Miller (co-founder of Carlisle Events), door prizes, and food.

Fall Carlisle, and automotive event season for that matter, may have concluded in Carlisle for the year, but in just a few short months, the Carlisle staff will be back at it, hosting Auto Mania within the Agri-Plex Building at the Allentown Fairgrounds (January 16-18), followed by Spring Carlisle (April 22-26). The 2025 Carlisle Events season isn’t quite over, but without hesitation, one year transitions to another and 2026 event plans are coming to fruition and into focus. While there are many parts of 2026 that are both unknown and yet to be published online or via social media, today the Carlisle Events planning team is eager to share what has been confirmed, plus dates of each 2026 event.

The 53rd season of Carlisle Events automotive fun starts January 16-18 with Auto Mania within the Agri-Plex Building of the Allentown Fairgrounds. This small all-weather event is considered Pennsylvania’s largest indoor and heated automotive flea market. There are two large rooms with vendors, car parts, collectibles, merchandise, and more. Plus, there are outdoor vendors and some collector cars for sale within a small car corral footprint. This event has always been a great way to beat the winter blues, re-stock for projects, or get the jump on show season in the spring.

Speaking of spring, the Carlisle “home” portion of the schedule starts with Spring Carlisle driven by Hemmings.com April 22-26. This event welcomes 100,000 guests to the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds and includes thousands of vendors selling millions of car parts, various forms of automobilia, hundreds of cars for sale by owner within the car corral, and a two-day classic and collector car auction powered by Carlisle Auctions. The auction is April 23-24 and will see 400+ lots cross the block spanning all eras of production. Reciprocating admission is available for both events.

“Specialty” car show season starts May 15-16 with the Carlisle Import & Performance Nationals. This international automotive showcase welcomes vehicles of all types; from common imports to rare and unique rides that aren’t often seen in the States, let alone at Carlisle. There’s also the third annual Carlisle Brew Mixer, a Toys for Tots toy drive by way of the Fiat Club of America, and a Race Paddock too.

The Carlisle Ford Nationals are June 5-7 and gallop onto the schedule with a heavy dose of Bronco (60 years), Mustang (50 years of Roush), and Taurus (40 years) highlights. Ford Motor Company also returns to Carlisle with a Midway display of expert guests and top-notch vehicles.

The Carlisle Summer of Muscle rolls on during the first day of summer itself with the Carlisle GM Nationals and Carlisle Chrysler Nationals. GM weekend is June 19-20 and highlights 100 years of Pontiac, a Pace Car display, one populated with C10s and Square Body trucks, the popular Solid Lifter Showroom, a gallery of 3rd Generation Camaros and Firebirds, and more. Chrysler lovers will want to earmark July 10-12 to celebrate 55 years of the 1971 Plymouth Duster 340, 100 years of the Imperial, and the world’s largest all-Mopar themed car show at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals.

In August, a fast-growing event starts off the month, while the first-ever Carlisle Events car show concludes it. The Carlisle Truck Nationals take place August 7-9 and continue to be the fastest-growing event on the schedule, with trucks of all shapes, sizes, styles, and eras, Monster Truck shows, Big Rigs, and a bevy of family fun. Not long after, Corvettes at Carlisle (August 27-29), the first car-specific event hosted in 1982 by Bill Miller and Chip Miller, welcomes a showcase of 1976 Corvettes, a People’s Choice/Best of Show contest, Team Chevrolet, top-notch expert seminars, and so much more.

Each of the aforementioned car show events supports, in some form or another, the 250th birthday celebration of the United States of America and includes some patriotic themes, plus a variety of wheels-in-motion activities, including on-grounds parades, autocross, drifting, a rolling exhaust contest, and more. Other than Bowling Green, Kentucky, there is no bigger Corvette epicenter than Carlisle, Pennsylvania and the Carlisle Fairgrounds. From August 21-23, 2025, thousands of Corvettes converged on central PA to mix, mingle, and celebrate all things Corvette. This included special guests from Team Chevrolet, the very first Corvette to ever roll off the assembly line, a special racecar reunion, ZR1 showcase as part of Chip’s Choice, track activities, and more.

From the time the gates opened on Thursday, August 21, and really in the days leading up to, Corvette lovers from around the world were coming to Carlisle in droves. It’s amazing to look over an 82-acre facility and see Corvettes and enthusiasts spanning generations, and that’s exactly what Corvettes at Carlisle was all about. On the stage sat the very first Corvette; a tattered, yet regal 1953 that long ago lost its (paint) shine, but along the way has found a way to glow brightly. It may have been one of the most photographed and talked about cars at the show, with its owner happy to interact with anyone and everyone who wanted to talk about it.

There were moments when Corvettes past (the ’53) shared the stage area with its future, as Team Chevrolet rolled in a pair of ZR1X pre-production models. In addition, they held court, touting their fastest American-built car ever crafted, while answering any and all questions for curious onlookers. Beyond their ZR1X showcase, their tent hosted an E-Ray, ZR1, and even their popular cutaway chassis.

Other great displays included a dedicated Corvette racecar reunion tent featuring rare and historically significant Corvettes, the popular Chip’s Choice showcase; this year featuring the ZR1, a 50-year reunion of 1975 Corvettes, NCRS Gallery, and NCCC Judged Concourse. There was even a single-car showcase that drew crowds; that being the Ridler Award-winning TwelveAir Corvette that Dave Kindig and the minds from Kindig-it-Design built. The car came to Carlisle by way of Max Motive of Pittsburgh.

Cars on display weren’t the only draw, as cars for sale and car parts also brought guests to Carlisle. This included an automotive flea market packed with Corvette parts, lifestyle vendors, and even cars for sale, both as projects and drive-ready gems within the car corral.

The fun wrapped up Saturday evening with the Downtown Carlisle Association’s Corvette Parade, Park, and Party. This annual community event saw 500+ Corvettes cruise into Carlisle for showgoers and community members alike to enjoy. It was also an opportunity for the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation, in partnership with the Lancaster County Corvette Club, to award a 2025 C8 2LT. That winner, Barry Liebert from Warminster, PA, was one of 1,000 entrants; all who supported the CMAF and Claire House along the way.

Team Chevrolet has built the highest horsepower American Sports Car ever, the Corvette ZR1X.  Oh by the way, it’s also the fastest!  Fresh off its Nürburgring record lap time of 6:49.275, the ZR1X isn’t just a star on the track, it’ll be THE start of Corvettes at Carlisle.  This hyper car and the amazing minds behind it are confirmed for Corvettes at Carlisle 2025, August 21-23 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds.

Just announced to Carlisle Events on August 6, Team Chevrolet will not only be bringing more than a dozen of their amazing staff to the event, but they’ll also have the ZR1X, a ZR1 rolling chassis, a Z06, an E-Ray, and a Stingray; all to be positioned at their midway booth and flanked by those who helped create it.  This showcase will no doubt be mind-blowing for those who love the Corvette and more so, for those who have a need for speed.  This is also a chance to see in person a car that just came to market and hasn’t otherwise been showcased at events like Corvettes at Carlisle.   

Imagine lusting after the latest and greatest Corvettes coming to market AND not only being able to see them in person, but being able to talk to those responsible for their creation.  That’s what Corvettes at Carlisle and this Team Chevrolet showcase is all about.  Not only will these cars be front and center, but Team Chevrolet will take a select few of them to the stage to host dedicated walk-arounds.  This gives the plethora of enthusiasts who trek to Carlisle a chance to see and hear up close and first-hand what these rides are all about.  Better yet, with GM dealers Lawrence Chevrolet and Ciocca Corvette onsite, hopeful buyers can visit them to learn more about how they can purchase their first or next Corvette.

For truck lovers, there are events that serve up what they are looking for, but it’s possible there is no bigger all-encompassing truck show than the Carlisle Truck Nationals. While its position as a large-scale event can be debated across the country, there’s no denying that this show is king amongst its passionate fan base in Carlisle and, for that matter, on the East Coast. In fact, from August 1–3 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, 2,994 trucks populated the event, making it the LARGEST-ever Carlisle Truck Nationals; a record that’s now been set…or re-set five years in a row.

Of the aforementioned total, nearly 300 Big Rigs hauled in for the popular Big Rig Show and Shine. Better yet, while there’s no way to truly know how many additional trucks came to Carlisle, it was very obvious that at least 20–30 more trucks were part of the fun, as they were displayed on the trailers of these mighty rigs. That’s right—trucks on trucks—to go along with the gallery haulers, heavy equipment, and more that spanned the entire southern portion of the grounds.

North of the Big Rig Show & Shine were rows of truck vendors, trucks for sale by owner within the truck corral, and even the Manufacturers Midway. Around all of that…trucks, lots of them! The National Parts Depot Judged Showfield hosted hundreds of award-winning show trucks, then, for as far as the eye could see—and then some—thousands more non-judged rides populated the grounds. There were displays of lowered trucks, lifted trucks, fire trucks, antique rides, and—back for its 13th year—Vanarama!

Two more great displays helped power Truck weekend: the SyTys in and around Building Y and a general Featured Vehicle Display (FVD) within Building T. For the FVD showcase, it was a collection of past Carlisle Elite award winners, antique fire trucks, and a general best-of-the-best collection of some of the wildest trucks around.

In addition to the trucks on display and the vendors selling their wares, truck clubs were a VERY important part of the weekend. These enthusiastic groups of truck owners rolled in in droves, hung out with their friends, made some new ones, and even had time to compete for the Largest Club and/or Coolest Club awards. These awards carried into the Big Rig area too, with Largest and Coolest Fleet and Convoy honors too.

Speaking of competing, there was no shortage of wheels-in-motion fun. This included Oxford Power Wheels racing, a low truck limbo, high truck challenge, drop and drag contest, rolling burnouts, monster truck shows and freestyle FMX stunt jumps, and—all-new in 2025—a multi-round exhaust contest.

Families, friends, and individuals made the best of the amazing weather and powered the weekend in ways never seen before. While the 2025 event is in the books, planning for 2026 is already underway.
